Let’s all imagine for couple of minutes that there will be time when we don’t have to live in a fear of a lockdown possibility, the news anchors would use word “corona” only when ordering a beer and that our ears can rest from a pressure from mask straps when traveling or visiting a store.   Come with me to the journey and imagine a vibrant evening at festival. Music is blasting and that bass vibration is going trough your core and you are feeling elevated as **bleep**. You are having time of your life with your best group of friends. There is exactly as much space as you need to feel free, but enough people also to make you feel the this real tribe feeling and feeling of belonging.   Suddenly loud group of “partypeople” are showing up, almost like seeking for attention. They are rude and just f*cking up the vibe. It’s the moment when the long built happiness feeling drops and you have to deal with feelings you did not planned to get visit from tonight.   What if there is a solution to prevent this kind of situation. What if those people will not come to the festival you go in the future? What if we don’t choose festival we go? What if festivals will choose us?   Let’s get to the point...   Idea what I am talking about is for music or video streaming platform(for example Spotify) sending out invitation to their users based on data of what type of music/content users are listening/consuming.   Invitation only event is not a new type of event/festival but the idea I am talking about differs from the magnitude it could grow into.    Let’s say if you have listened 1500 hours of house music, you will get invitation to festival which has focused it’s experience around people who usually go to festivals like this.   How it works?   One day you will see unusual and strangely good looking pop-up banner appearing magically into main page of the app and announces that you personally(and lets say +1) are invited to the magical festival. The copy and design of this banner are breathtaking and main message is that this festival is matching exactly your music type and other 499 tickets went to people who respect same type of music as you, which gives it great hope that those are you kind of people.   Before buying a ticket you will only know when and what country or area the event is taking place and what’s it’s main focus.   To add even more thrill to the process, the banner announces that you only have 4 days 23 hours and 58 minutes to purchase those tickets or opportunity of purchase will be passed to next one on the list.   After buying tickets you will receive your ticket and note that exact location will be announced X time before, depending how the accommodation will be organized. This could be new type of marketing for events but also new type tool for brands for event marketing.
