I'd like the ability to instantly shuffle and play all of my music, including playlists I've created or followed. Okay, I'm aware there have been a ton of shuffle issues that (I think) have since been resolved, but now whenever I want to shuffle an artist, so I can hear ALL the albums, it only shuffles the most recent albums. although the shuffle function has had some of its problems addressed before i still feel like it could be miles better than what it is for the enjoyment of spotify users.    it seems that it still always plays the same songs, maybe not in the same listening session but it still does it. and its gotten to the point that im getting bored of what i think are really good songs.   so what im suggsting is that the shuffle function should have the a feature that stops a song form being repeated until the all other songs in the playlist have been played even between sessions, with the ability to turn off this feature of course. i think this would greatly improve the shuffle function and satisfy the communities problems with it ... I have a lot of classical music playlists. I'd like to be able to use shuffle mode, but play multi-movement pieces as a whole and in the proper order.   Perhaps if playlists are nested like this Music > Beethoven's 5th Symphony > > movement 1 > > movement 2 > > movement 3 > > movement 4 > Schubert "Death and the Maiden" string quartet > > movement 1 > > movement 2 > > movement 3 > > movement 4 > Chopin nocturne in E flat > Liszt "Totentanz"   Is there a way to shuffle the outer folder (Music) so that it could choose any inner playlist to play next, but the inner playlist must play in order? So far my experience as a paying user of Spotify has been a bit frustrating because despite the amount of music available it doesn't feel as if the needs of the more dedicated listeners were taken into account when designing this app. For starters, just two simple suggestions that would help a lot:   1) Make big shuffle buton optional.   This is obviously targeted to the pop, or casual (no intent to offend) listener. Users who listen to classical music rarely use this function, as classical music is organized in consecutive 'movements', usually each movement given one track For instance, Beethoven's 5th symphony is organized in 4 movements: 1. Allegro con brio, 2. Andante con moto, 3. Scherzo-Allegro, 4. Allegro (in that specific order). Shuffling that would be like shuffling the order of the episodes of House of Cards or Game of Thrones.   2) Add a "rewind 5 seconds" button.   This is specially useful for the music student or professional who may be, for instance, analyzing a score, and needs to relisten to a musical phrase or to a certain passage in order to analyze or study a given element in the music, or a given interpretation of a work.   As someone in other thread would say, we musicians are a "niche" that spend money in music. I don't think shuffle and repeat should follow you between playlists or artists. I think each should be deselected when selecting a different playlist or artist. I also think it would be great to be able to shuffle between two playlists in "your music". Some days I want a certain playlist and others I want to hear from more than one. I love everything about Spotify.
