All ideas available on this site are only accessible to people that are aware of this website. It seems like Spotify deals first with the most voted ideas but the votes are not representative of the needs because actually almost none of all users are aware of the existence of this website. A Twitter account with ideas tweeted automatically, reactions, RTs, likes will give a better representation of what people actually want and create debate around ideas.

When sharing the song we listen to to our twitter profile, it would be really great if us as the user can choose which part of the song are to be cropped and shared on our profile. Meaning that we as the user are let to crop the song ourselves. 🙂

There are a handful of official Twitter handles out there for Spotify. Some of them give news every once in a while. This community can be quite overwhelming and it can be difficult to determine exactly what the Spotify team is currently working on or has recently implemented. Or what they are keeping in a holding pattern. Simply subscribing to these forums is not an efficient way of obtaining new news. It is flooded with irrelavant posts. Many of us want to be able to focus mostly of the "official word" directly from Spotify or spotify users who are truly in the know. I believe having a new twitter handle specifically for Updates on Twitter Community Ideas, New Features, New Releases, Fixes, Enhancements, Spotify-specific news, etc would be beneficial. This would NOT be for music updates - such as a new artist album, but specifically for the Spotify software on any of the platforms. Twitter has become a great way to get topic-specific news, and there needs to be more coming from the Spotify Community boards. It would be nice if the forum administrators could collectively manage this new twitter account and keep Spotify users up to date. Does anyone else agree?

It would be awesome if when we share a song to twitter the artists twitter name was there instead. Just think that would be awesome for new upcoming artists.

Just another pet hate of mine in the desktop client! I quite often share tracks/albums/artists on Twitter, but never to my Facebook Timeline. The Spotify application does not "remember" I have unticked the Facebook box in the Share menu, so everytime I share I have to select Facebook: Why can't the application remember my previous sharing settings? Currently when you share a playlist to Facebook/Twitter, it shows in your activity feed (and that of your followers) like below: The numbers shown, in this case "5" and "11" correspond to the number of followers the playlist has, although that is made in no way clear when you view the Activity feed. Since it is not possible to view all of the playlist followers anyway (clicking the number does nothing) I think it would make much more sense to display the date/time that the playlist was last updated. Something like: Thoughts? Peter
