"Musical Marathon: Reward Your Passion with Premium"

 

 

Dear Spotify Team,

 

My name is Daniel Mulero Jiménez, and I would like to share a marketing idea that I believe could greatly benefit both Spotify and its user community.

 

The proposal is to implement a temporary challenge aimed at users who do not have Spotify Premium:

If they listen to 6 hours of music per day for 7 consecutive days, they would receive 14 days of Spotify Premium for free.

 

This system, which could be called something like "Musical Marathon: Reward Your Passion with Premium", offers several potential benefits:

 

Increased app usage time, leading to higher ad consumption by free-tier users during those hours.

 

Higher advertising revenue, due to the increase in impressions and exposure.

 

Stronger engagement and loyalty, by rewarding active listening habits.

 

Potential growth in new accounts, as the incentive could encourage more people to sign up (especially if the offer is limited to one time per account).

 

I believe this could be an effective and well-received campaign, both from a user experience and business perspective.
