My Idea is that Spotify would give you the option of having your song history linked to geographical location, time of day, and possibly even events in your life. For example: You take a road trip to Palm Springs, you had a great time, with so many memories, 2 years later you return, Spotify asks a push notification "would you like to go back in time" ? or you can select a "time machine" icon on the spotify player that will instantly link your song history with the geographical location, and possibly information from your social media the last time you were there, and instantly allow you to relive those memories by playing the same songs, maybe even the songs you were listening to around that same time of day. Spotify could also recognize if you had significantly left your normal geographical area, and ask you a few "time machine questions", are you on vacation ? , life event ?, Mood ? and it will store it for you. Later you can relive a highschool prom, or show your kids what you were listening to when you were "16" on the same day that it is currently. It is a personal musical time machine. And I think you should do it !
