Hi Tom, tell us more about yourself.
My name is Tom, I am 38, and I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I work as the Business Development Director for a small company that builds websites for the furniture industry. I like my job because I get to help local businesses compete against the online monoliths using the internet intelligently. If people were to know me for something, I’d like it to be that I am someone who enjoys learning. I do it by default, and I do it with joy.
When did you first start using Spotify and what made you want to join the Star program?
I joined Spotify a long time ago, at least 5+ years, on the free subscription. I got premium maybe 3 years ago, and learned about the Community a few months ago. Unreal that I never knew about it. Once I knew the community existed I’ve used it everyday since. When I was approached about joining the Star Program I jumped at the opportunity because it meant I could learn more from all of you wonderful folks, and hopefully help others, and the platform itself. I’m very grateful.
We're all music fans here. Can you tell us more about your favorite tunes and artists?
🎵 Song: “A Letter From Home” by Ulrich Schnauss. Why? I listened to it at the right moment- sometimes the situation and the environment impact how I receive and remember songs. I remember listening to this song in the office and remembering to write it down. Nice atmospheric tune with no frills, just pleasant and pretty.

Why? So hard to answer. Mainly because it's my go-to when I want to listen closely to lyrics and basically listen to stories through music.
