As we prepare for 2022, we wanted to look back to all the exciting things that happened this year in our Community.
Forum updates:
- New Community look: we spruced things up a bit with three rotating color theme combinations. To top it all off, we updated the landing pages of Help, Chat, Ideas and the Spotify Stars pages to make it easier to access related content. I might be totally biased, but doesn't it look pretty? 😍
- Chat's also divided into helpful labels, so you can find conversations from like-minded Spotify users even faster!
- We're also focusing more on having more engaging conversations across different Chat areas, read this recent guide to find out more! And if you're new here, introduce yourself!
- An important change about Community Private Messages - read more here.
- Spotify Answers, our tribal knowledge article area has been renamed to FAQ. The same helpful guides, just a different board title!
Spotify Star Program updates:
- The program has been renamed! Say hello to the Spotify Stars Program!
- To accompany this big change, the program's logo was also updated, thanks to our Star @Hubo 👀
- We also introduced our program values - read more about the process and their meaning in this Blog:
- We also proudly hosted the first ever, virtual Values Week to celebrate with our Stars our new Values.
- Virtually for the first time as well was also our annual Star Jam. We all had a week of fun and met with Spotify teams. @MattSuda has a better recap for that if you missed it.
Community team updates
- We have a few new faces joining our team this year:
- @IsleyP - Leslie joined as a Community Manager with a focus on content.
- We also have Community newcomers: the podcast teams! With dedicated podcast teams writing content, you can now discover and chat with fellow podcast fans in our dedicated new Podcast Discussion section!
- @AmyPenistone and @EmmaBe, will be helping out with community projects like promotion and events.
- From our moderator teams, @Kiril, @Yordan and @MafeG
- We also have new Stars joining the program: @Amayy and @MateusM. You can read more about them in our Backstage Intro series.
