Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board and present the ones we’ve updated in the past month.

We're here to take a look at the ideas we updated for you all in December. Curious what we implemented last year? Well check out our Yearly Ideas Review: 2016 here. 

IMPLEMENTED:

1. Cortana integration for Windows 10

Cortana + Spotify integration is now live on Win10 releases from RS2 and later.

You can now use Cortana to control music playback on more of your favorite music apps (EN-US only). Starting with this build, Windows has enabled natural language compatibility for Spotify. This works on both above the lock screen (PC is locked) as well as below!.You can try queries like…

• Play Christmas music on Spotify
• Play my discover weekly playlist on Spotify
• Play <Artist/Track/Title/Genre/Mood> on <AppName>
• Play some Drake
• Play Focus music
• Play Rock music

Once music is playing you can ask Cortana what’s playing like this:

• Hey Cortana, what’s playing?

Cortana will keep you posted on your tracks.

To start rocking to your favorite tracks just get the latest app update and sign into Spotify in the notebook under the music section.

NOT RIGHT NOW:

2. Shuffle to work with queued songs too. 

3. Reverse Thumbs Up/ Down button order in Spotify Radio.

4. Reset taste profile option.

At this time we still don't have plans to let users reset their taste profile histories. You are welcome to create a new account with a new email address at any time (no need to contact customer support). However, this isn't recommended as you're truly starting from zero and it takes some time for us to learn your taste profile.

5. Remove the shuffle button.

I listen to all the new music every Friday from AMG. I then find the best songs on a list starting with the 2 digit year and 2 digit month. I spend a lot of time going through these. I also take the best albums and they start with the 4 digit year and Best Albums. I've been doing this for over 3 years and they are all public under Peter Sidney Hall. Mostly Indie, Pop, and some Blues.

I'm not sure what's going on but I constantly have feminist and wamen empowerment playlists suggested to me in the Home section. Also, why does it day women's March? I listen to Slayer. 

Can you please stop suggesting political stuff in my home section? Otherwise I'm quitting the service. Been a member for 3 years.

Since Spotify is carving its own rules where could I be lead to support the cause that will revolutionize the part of the financial industry established practices. I want to support spotifys cause by purchasing stock options, where do I need to go to do so?

I would really like to see how to make it easier to find people and interact with their music playlists.
