IMPLEMENTED:

1. Clear play queue

We're happy to announce that we have implemented the Clear queue feature on our mobile app.

Just open the queue and you should see the Clear all button at the top

2. Downloaded podcasts should also play videos not just audio

We've now rolled out the ability to download video content for offline viewing for iOS and Android users.

This will be the new default setting, but you can easily toggle it off in the app settings to only save audio when downloading video podcasts.

Hey.  Recently, we observed an ad for planned parenthood on Spotify.  I know that they have huge amounts of advertising dollars but It deeply concerned me to see this on Spotify.  

I don't want to create an argument or debate.  So not going to expound on why it offeneded.  But we just had an election that showed our nation very much devided.  Almost 50-50.  My thought is that the showing of this ad probably isolates 50% of your clients.  From a business perspective, wouldn't it make sense to stay with ads that were more centralized?  That way no one is isolated out and Spotify increases its base.

If you ever remove this ad, please let us know.  We truly like Spotify and everything that your product can do.

How about get your team to add Swipe to Queue feature on Android which people actually are complaining about.
Don't tell me to suggest the Idea either when all you do is close the thread. It's been 6 years

I'd love to be able to add 1) an image and 2) a description to a playlist folder, like you can with playlists.

How about finally implementing the function to remove/block followers? This has been an idea for nearly 8 years and you haven't done a single thing about it.

How about being able to see WHO follows your playlists and not just how many people. It could be a feature only for playlists less than maybe 1000 followers as above that I'm guessing it could crash.

There are a few "new ideas" (they're really months old, one is even two years old) that have hundreds and even thousands of votes, and yet @spotify refuses to address them. There are deep flaws that make Spotify almost unplayable for tens of thousands of users. Every other major music streaming service supports Airplay 2 and native HomePod support, but Spotify sits on the sidelines and does nothing, requiring us to go and vote to have that support added. And even when we vote overwhelmingly in support of it, we get nothing in return. Very frustrating.

I think the option to view track lists of albums and artists songs should be reintroduced for free users as it makes it extremely difficult to make playlists by trying to find songs through shuffle play.

I really think a live chat for group sessions would be nice. its kind of annoying to have to use a different platform to chat with someone when you're already connected through Spotify.

I would like the option to segregate my release radar into more than one playlist every Friday. I would like to be able to assign each act I follow to list A or B etc and then I would get 2 (or more) playlists of music every Friday of acts that I like grouped together in a way which is more pleasing for me to listen to. This would be much more beneficial for me than the Daily Mix playlists that you generate that I never listen to.

Bring back lyrics on the desktop application. This was a great feature that spotify use to have and I do not know why it was stopped. Before the users could input the lyrics which was awesome, bring this back, it's too good of a feature to pass up, and it was greatly appreciated.

Light mode? Or maybe at least alternate color schemes. I know that black, grey and green have been the standard colors for Spotify ever since the early days, but some optional customization wouldn't hurt.

There are several ideas with 10,000+ votes which have practically been ignored, without genuine reasons against implementing the changes.

Spotify couldn't care less about ideas, what a joke.

PLEASE ADD OPTION TO HIDE ZODIAC RECOMENDATIONS!

1. Please allow me to control Spotify auto connecting to my car and overriding whatever app I was using before. Invariably I listen to the radio in my car but first I have to turn off Spotify. 

2. Please allow me to control Spotify on my devices. In the settings there is an option to "Listen to and control Spotify on your devices." This is a joke. If I cannot turn it off, I cannot control it.

Stop the BS. Just provide an option to turn off whatever "helpful" function. Please. I used to like Spotify, now it's starting to infuriate me.
