Why can't we get a block feature? Is Spotify afraid of losing money from people that use Spotify solely to stalk people? Is stalker money a major part of your revenue, Spotify? Pretty sure you'll lose more money from people moving to a different platform where creeps can't view exactly what you're listening to and when you're listening to it. People in the voting thread keep calling the lack of a block feature "laziness" on Spotify's part, but at this point I guarantee you that it's a willful decision not to include it, and you have to ask yourself why that is.
Please implement a block feature that you promised you'd look into years ago. There are people I don't want to see on Spotify, and blocking them on other apps is no problem, so I don't see why it should be a problem on here.
This idea was marked as closed.
[Web Player][Developer] Chrome OS Fully Functional... - The Spotify Community
I guess Spotify doesn't want to fully support web browsers which is something in common across all OS platforms. Go figure. ☹️
Their reply was "Have a nice day" which basically translates to ... well you know what.
I'm a graduate student, and I just found out that I can't get the discount anymore since my 4 years is up. I think spotify should update its policy and as long as you can prove you are a student, you should get that discount.
It would be great if Spotify allowed for the blocking of other users. It would be amazing if I didn't have an ex friend following me so all of my other ex friends can still keep an eye on me. I'm no-contact with these people, but unfortunately Spotify of all places is where I have to be reminded of them. This feature has been proposed for 8 years now. There have been 8 years of users begging for a blocking feature for multiple reasons and there have been none implemented. I am not restarting my account of two years after ALREADY going through a similar incident. Blocking is a simple, simple function. There should be no reason why Spotify has chosen to ignore this one feature.
