March 2019 Ideas Review
Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board. In this blog we'll present some of the ones we’ve updated in the past month!
Want to know what's been going on in the Ideas Board in the last 30 days? Let's take a look...
On Desktop it's now possible to expand album artwork to full screen by clicking the two diagonal arrows in the bottom right of the screen (next to the volume bar).
2. Wikpedia Link for Artists
3. Show Credits also on Mobile
4. Google Home for Family Subscriptions outside US (Deal currently availble in UK and France now)
5. Disable Video Loop Cover Art
6. Offline radio stations
7. [Android] Bring back Double-Tap Search
It looks like BLACKPINK have edited their bio and it now doesn't mention BTS. As a heads up, Artist Bio's are controled by the artist themselves so we wouldn't edit what's written in them.
9. Add Playlist or Album to Queue
We're actively bringing your comments and feedback to the teams here so they know which features are important to you.

I posted a topic speaking of the new interface, there's plenty of those in the ideas section but I feel that they are just ignoring all of them, if you guys could just upvote mine as well so they can give attention to this subject me and my fragile ego would be pretty happy. https://community.spotify.com/t5/Idea-Submissions/All-Platforms-Your-Music-Still-no-response-on-the-...
can you add a feature so when right-clicking on a folder , you could download all albums and playlists that are in that folder? downloading albums would be so much easier than clicking every album separately ... and one more thing , if the app would let us to download some playlists or podcasts in a different quality (at least in premium) would be nice
On mobile you have the feature to queue a playlist, however you can't do this on desktop. Could this be added to desktop?
I am finally a spotify user finally thanks to this informational website:dailyjunkies.
Spotify has acutally optimised the platform so well with Machine learning that suggestion are so accurate as if they are reading our mind.
Thanks to Spotify premium for the amazing music experience
Some Spotify playlists (mostly in electronic music section) are curated in a way that the following song beat matches the previous one, like in a DJ mixing. To guarantee a smooth transition, they don't start at 0:00.I feel like it should be an optional thing. I've had many songs where I'm into it and then suddenly changes to a wildly different beat.
Please add as an option!
For mobile and desktop, the 30 second preview could be edited by the artist. So they can choose what 30 seconds is previewed when it is opened by listeners on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Would be helpful for us artists if developers can make this possible! Keep up the great work!
Bring back what spotify was 1 year ago. bring back all the good featuers like, thumbs up/down, Block artist from play in radio. When searching for a song and you select one Play all the songs from that seach list NOT REPEATING THE ONE YOU CLICKED ON if this is not changed until my next paymen I will quit spotify premium for good. This last update that came last week or so is TERRIBLE.
And we are still not able to hear music offline with the apple watch...
Also annoyed ? Vote for it !https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/iOS-Apple-Watch-Spotify-Streaming-and-Offline-Listening/...
When you press the search button and enter the genres you can click on one and then see popular playlists with certain subgenres. I think a raprock playlist in that section would be great, since I love raprock but have trouble finding new artists within that genre.
Hope this is possible and that you can implement it!
PLEASE IMPLEMENT NEW COLUMNS TO SORT BY - GENRE/BPM ARE A MUST. THIS TOPIC HAS BEEN ASKED FOR SINCE 2012, BUT STILL HASNT BEEN DONE !!!
I would like you guys to make a shuffle mode like the old ipod shuffles put a button in each playlist that is a automatic shuffle of all songs within the playlist so your playlist is always presented in a new and fresh way. Then put the button in modes so its a one touch shuffle when your driving, I got nothing but ideas if you pay me!
Ready Set Dead
Podcasts are not visible to friends in the activity feed, could this be fixed, please?
Will syria ever be available for Spotify?
As an avid long time user of Spotify, I was disappointed to find that the option of the "songs" was removed from the mobile App. Sometimes I feel like listening to all my music at once but now I am unable to do so. Please bring this option back!!!!!!!!
Can you possibly add a feature where it allows you to see all of your playlists that contain a certain song or artist.
I used to be able to click on a saved artist/album and view my saved songs for that artist/album. Now if I click an artist or album it takes me to their page instead of my saved songs. If I want to listen to an artist whose songs I've saved, now I have to manually put those songs in a playlist. Why was this feature removed?
I have a suggestion for the queue on the Spotify app. Instead of having two separate buttons, one to remove the upcoming song and one to add a song to the queue why not have each of those buttons or a way of combining them so you can add it to the queue and then remove from the later part of the shuffle? Three buttons I suppose
