Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board and highlights the statuses we’ve updated recently.

IMPLEMENTED:

1. [All Platforms][Playlists] Skipping songs in a playlist that you are not the creator of

It's now possible to hide tracks within any playlist on mobile.

Just head to the context menu (three dots), and tap "Hide song". The song will be marked as "Hidden", meaning it'll no longer play in that playlist. This can be undone at any time too.

2. [Music] Block / Hide / Blacklist Tracks or Artists

The option 'Don't play this artist' is now available on iOS and Android.

If we have any information about this on other platforms in the future, we'll report back!

3. [Browse] Hide song in Premium

We're marking this as implemented, as this feature is now available on mobile.

If we have any info regarding this on desktop in the future, we'll head back here with an update.

4. [All Platforms] Sleep Timer

We can confirm this is available on both iOS & Android!

You can check out this idea, if you'd like to vote for a sleep timer on desktop too.

5. Increase maximum Songs allowed in Your Music

We're excited to be marking this idea as implemented!

We've now removed the limit on saved items in Your Library, making it possible to save songs, and albums on Spotify to your heart's content.

As the app has changed quite a bit since this idea was submitted, please be aware that some functionality is now different. This change does not impact the limit on the number of songs in a playlist other than your Liked Songs.

Dear sirs, good morning.
My name is Ricardo Strauch, I am a mechanical engineer and I'm from Brazil. I come through this comment to ask you if you know the app called Sound Hound. This app is just incredible! Its main functionality is to discover music from passages played and perceived audibly by it. However, its biggest differential in relation to its "competitors", such as: Google music, Shazam, etc., is that it is possible to discover songs with a very high degree of precision just by "humming" parts of this. There is no need to mention a word of the song, let alone sing in its original tone. Being slightly tuned and reproducing the melody of the song with the greatest possible fidelity, the app is already able to find out which song it is. In addition, if the music is being played on any device, the app identifies exactly the version. That is, it identifies the band, the cover, the concert, or any other specific characteristic of the song. Therefore, I would like to know if you have already suggested the possibility of acquiring and integrating this app with Spotify. The advantages would be immense! Imagine you being able to add songs to your Spotify playlists that don't even know the name or even parts of the lyrics, instantly. It would be amazing! Excuse me for taking your time with my ramblings but I am an enthusiast when it comes to continuous process improvement and user experience. By the way, I think the agile methodology developed by Spotify is incredible; a true avant-garde masterpiece, capable of overriding what we now have as the main process and project management methodology, Scrum. Grateful for your attention.

I would  like the option the recommended songs   of a certain playlist will be much more diverse and not show the same songs all over again when i hit the refresh button .

My account got hacked so I changed the password and logged off all devices, but it did not remove the 2 devices the hacker added. How do I remove the devices (ps4, and an unknown)

I am not able to post ideas. i followed the steps. but it says I have errors. but I don't.

I wanted to raise the issue of showing album duration and credits. is it only he Indian version or is t a common issue?

Also I am unable to access artists page by swiping on the album cover in the album page.

Hi. I've been wondering if you ever plan on letting us pin songs in our playlists. There are a bunch of songs that I would love to keep at the top of my public playlist for people and friends to see.
