Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board and highlights the statuses we’ve updated recently.

Below you can find the statuses changed last month. For more information read: Idea Exchange: How does my feedback reach Spotify?

1. [All Platforms][Playlists] Skipping songs in a playlist that you are not the creator of

It's now possible to hide tracks within any playlist on mobile.

Just head to the context menu (three dots), and tap "Hide song". The song will be marked as "Hidden", meaning it'll no longer play in that playlist. This can be undone at any time too.

2. [Music] Block / Hide / Blacklist Tracks or Artists

The option 'Don't play this artist' is now available on iOS and Android.

If we have any information about this on other platforms in the future, we'll report back!

3. [Browse] Hide song in Premium

We're marking this as implemented, as this feature is now available on mobile.

If we have any info regarding this on desktop in the future, we'll head back here with an update.

4. [All Platforms] Sleep Timer

We can confirm this is available on both iOS & Android!

You can check out this idea, if you'd like to vote for a sleep timer on desktop too.

5. Increase maximum Songs allowed in Your Music

We're excited to be marking this idea as implemented!

We've now removed the limit on saved items in Your Library, making it possible to save songs, and albums on Spotify to your heart's content.

As the app has changed quite a bit since this idea was submitted, please be aware that some functionality is now different. This change does not impact the limit on the number of songs in a playlist other than your Liked Songs.

For more info, check out this blog post.

6. [All Platforms][Your Library] Delete Songs from Account History

7. [All Platforms] "Don't Like Button" should be added to all sections

8. [Podcasts] Push Notification for new Episodes

9. [Social] Real Time "Listen with Friend(s)"

10[Running] Bring back Running

11. [Mobile] Listening History On Mobile

12. [iOS][Other] Spotify Alarm on iOS

Dear sirs, good morning.
My name is Ricardo Strauch, I am a mechanical engineer and I'm from Brazil. I come through this comment to ask you if you know the app called Sound Hound. This app is just incredible! Its main functionality is to discover music from passages played and perceived audibly by it. However, its biggest differential in relation to its "competitors", such as: Google music, Shazam, etc., is that it is possible to discover songs with a very high degree of precision just by "humming" parts of this. There is no need to mention a word of the song, let alone sing in its original tone. Being slightly tuned and reproducing the melody of the song with the greatest possible fidelity, the app is already able to find out which song it is. In addition, if the music is being played on any device, the app identifies exactly the version. That is, it identifies the band, the cover, the concert, or any other specific characteristic of the song. Therefore, I would like to know if you have already suggested the possibility of acquiring and integrating this app with Spotify. The advantages would be immense! Imagine you being able to add songs to your Spotify playlists that don't even know the name or even parts of the lyrics, instantly. It would be amazing! Excuse me for taking your time with my ramblings but I am an enthusiast when it comes to continuous process improvement and user experience. By the way, I think the agile methodology developed by Spotify is incredible; a true avant-garde masterpiece, capable of overriding what we now have as the main process and project management methodology, Scrum. Grateful for your attention.
Ricardo Garavello Strauch.

I would  like the option the recommended songs   of a certain playlist will be much more diverse and not show the same songs all over again when i hit the refresh button .

My account got hacked so I changed the password and logged off all devices, but it did not remove the 2 devices the hacker added. How do I remove the devices (ps4, and an unknown)

Miniplayer for video podcasts. Every media player that shows video has some variant of that, going back to windows 98. It's shocking to see how poorly JRE podcasts are shown in podcasts. Is someone REALLY going to watch a podcasts in a window like that? I'd like to use my computer at the same time, while podcasts play. Come on.

Like browsers are doing, a floating window always on top, is perfect and only way, me and I would imagine most people or all would like to see them. Please. Won't use spotify to listen podcasts until that's implemented.

I am not able to post ideas. i followed the steps. but it says I have errors. but I don't.

I wanted to raise the issue of showing album duration and credits. is it only he Indian version or is t a common issue?

Also I am unable to access artists page by swiping on the album cover in the album page.

Hi. I've been wondering if you ever plan on letting us pin songs in our playlists. There are a bunch of songs that I would love to keep at the top of my public playlist for people and friends to see.

Thank you if you reply.

Go look at my post and like it please it would be very much appreciated.

I want to bring back the original way songs were recommended to us in a playlist. I used to put my favorite songs into a playlist and listen to all the recommended songs and found great music and now if I do this the only thing that pops up in my recommenced section is songs with the same song titles or same artists names. Therefore it is no longer based by genre, a lot of times I find rock music in my recommendations and my Spotify profile has no history of rock in it.

me and several people with the same need would love the option to exclude songs from the playback history so that the playlist personalities become more faithful as we want

it would be nice if Spotify would remember where one stopped listening to a playlist and continue from there if you just select this playlist.

Moreover, the possibility to separate songs in a playlist in sections by something like headers would be also nice.

what ever happened to the feature that showed on an artist's page what other friends listen to that artist?

Please please PLEASE add a feature that tells spotify of what genre's of music you DON'T like. This would be so helpful so I don't have a song that I DON'T like coming up on a daily mix.
