Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board. In this blog we'll present some of the ones we’ve updated in the past month!

IMPLEMENTED:

1. Explicit Filter

It's now possible to use the Explicit content filter on mobile and tablet devices (more devices coming soon!). Right now, the setting is only for the individual account and device. If you do apply the setting on your phone, it doesn't filter explicit content for the same account on the desktop app.

 

2. Your Top Songs 2018 Playlist

3. Scrobble to Last.fm with Spotify Connect

We're keeping this as a 'Good Idea' for now. Please know your feedback is reaching the internal teams at Spotify, and they're aware of the votes around this idea. We'll continue to check out the comments here too.

 

Just as a heads up, be sure to check out the 'Create Similar Playlist' option on the Desktop and Mobile apps. You can find it by clicking the three dots on most playlists.

Thanks for adding your feeback about bringing parental controls to Spotify. We also think it's a great idea and we're looking into it further. We've changed this idea to 'Under Consideration' and soon as we have any further updates we'll keep you posted.

hi. thousends of premium spotify users are leaving spotify, moving to apple music. because they own an apple watch (most sold watch in the world)

apple music is providing OFFLINE MUSIC PLAYBACK

this is very important to people, f.e. runners...

why doesnt spotify offer an apple watch app with offline music playback, like on other ios devices?

What about location based song recommendations?

For example if you are listening slow songs at your home spotify recommends home playlist for you based on the songs you listen at your home. Driving playlist when you are driving etc.

BETTER SUFFLE

I have playlists full of music I love with 200 and 1300 songs. I want to listen them with suffle but it allways gives me the same songs (wich is brobably becose the AI things I only want to listen my "favorite songs").  Also the AI cheats itself putting me some song, then I listen them and it thinks that those are the songs I want to listen next time, but I just listened them becose you chose them to me.  I may like some songs more than others but dont make my bubble smaller just giving me something I have liked or listened a lot.

 

What do I do with 1300 good songs if you just let me listen 50 of them?

Hi,

 

It would be nice to have a visualizer like the old itunes did.  Could be anything, they could change as often as snap chat filters do.  Just something nice like a screen saver that goes along with the music.  If you just want to have it on during a party or whatever, you can be as creative as you want.  Let me know your thougts.

It would be so cool to have the option to change the color of the skin of Spotify...I have epilepsy and the current skin really affects it to the point where I can't use it...I won't buy a subscription until this is available...I've seen a lot of people asking for this...Please Spotify I love the program but this needs to be addressed! Thanks!
