The Community Team regularly reviews our Ideas Board and highlights the statuses we’ve updated in the past month, or in this case the past 3 months.

In this blog you'll read about all the status updates we made in June, July and August, so I hope you enjoy our Summer Ideas review.

We've set all of them to Implemented and you can click on their titles to learn more about the topic at hand.

GOOD IDEA:

7. [Desktop/Webplayer] - Daily Mix dislike button

8. [Social] Party Mode with DJ that approves songs

We've marked both of these as a 'Good Idea'.
Please know your feedback is reaching the internal teams at Spotify, and they're aware of the votes around this idea. We'll continue to check out the comments in the threads as well.

9. [Discover] Notifications for New Releases of followed Artists

10. [Mac] Touchbar should show Song Title

11. [Partnership] Fitbit with Spotify

12. [Artist Page] Filter on Album / Artist Pages

We don't have any plans to implement these at this time, so we're closing them for now.

If something should change we'll come back and provide an update in the threads we linked above.

We appreciate you bringing us continual feedback.

We also think this is a great idea and we're looking into it further.

We've changed this idea to 'Under Consideration' and we'll post here if we have an update.

We're setting this idea to 'Not Right Now', as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement.

You can check each thread for more info or a workaround that can help you out. And if anyone reading this hasn't voted already - go ahead! The more votes, the higher the chance an idea will be considered for implementation.

CHOOSE WHO CAN ADD MUSIC TO YOUR PLAYLISTS

At a collaborative playlist it would be great to have the option to select who can add songs to it. This playlist can be see and use for everyone but only the one that has create it can give access to people to add songs to it

What about bringing back lyrics? It's been a "good idea, vote for it" for a year now.

You mentioned “see all songs on artist page” twice: as “implemented” and “not right now”. As I can see that feature is still not implemented, so there is a mistake in “implemented” section.

I think it would be cool if you could drop a pin into a song as a marker to jump to so people sharing songs could show a specific part. It would also make posting to social media from where you want/prefer way easier. Also there are songs I only like one verse by one artist and if you could jump to the marker automatically would be awesome too. This would lead into mixing songs by linking markers very easy too.
