The Community Team regularly reviews our Ideas Board and highlights the statuses we’ve updated in the past month, or in this case the past 3 months.

We've marked both of these as a 'Good Idea'.
Please know your feedback is reaching the internal teams at Spotify, and they're aware of the votes around this idea. We'll continue to check out the comments in the threads as well.

We don't have any plans to implement these at this time, so we're closing them for now.

If something should change we'll come back and provide an update in the threads we linked above.

We also think this is a great idea and we're looking into it further.

We're setting this idea to 'Not Right Now', as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement.

Just want to give a shout out to a new podcast. I don't see anyway to rate it with Spotify.....  The Anti-Racism Daily Podcast with Nicole Cardoza.  It offers concise information on todays issues followed by real 'action items!' A true masterpiece!

The volume control in the Spotify GUI is separate from the (Spotify-specific) one in the Windows mixer; if either one is turned down, the effective volume for Spotify will be low, while all other programs will be at full volume. It would be great if instead of Spotify doing its own mixing, it synced its volume control with the one assigned to it by Windows.

Can we have a choice to toggle between Romanji lyrics and Kanji lyrics for Japanese songs? As a non-japanese I would love to sing along however its troublesome to online to search for the Romanji lyrics of the song I'm listening to. 
Or maybe add a feature where we can edit the lyrics in? Like how we can add our own songs imported from local files.

Hi I'm a Spotify artist, I have a few suggestions on how to pay artists more.

I think the 10 dollar monthly subscription should be for access to the library of music on Spotify; music at least 6 months old. Music newer than 6 months should be supported more meaningfully. I suggest an activator button on new and newer albums, an in-app support of as little as one dollar that goes directly to the artist. New albums could be available to stream on day of or week of release as a preview, then the listener would need to hit that activator button to continue streaming during the 6 month new album period.

Hey a great thing to add to Spotify would be checking who has liked your playlists. This seems like a very small task and would be very easy to implement. Take your time though its not as important as the others ones.
