The Community Team reviews our Ideas Board and highlights the statuses we’ve updated in the past few months.

IMPLEMENTED

1. [iOS] Apple Watch: Spotify Streaming and Offline Listening

Тhis has been one of our most upvoted ideas and we've known it's something that our users would really like to see come true. We're happy to announce that this feature will now become available for the Apple Watch Series 3 or later. 

2. [Desktop][Podcasts] Eliminate Blue Dot on Desktop app - Use Progress Bar to Show If Played

This idea has now been implemented. Thanks for leaving your +Votes.

3. [Desktop][Other] Return the option to hide media keys overlay

We've spoken to the relevant teams and they've confirmed that this feature has already been implemented - this is why we're updating the idea's status to Implemented.

4. [Desktop][Podcasts] Add/remove podcast shows to your own playlists on the Desktop app

We're happy to announce that this feature is now available on Desktop.

5. [All Platforms] Album Art for each Track in a playlist 

It's great to confirm that this is now available on Android, iOS and Desktop. 

6. [Music] Stop Playback after a Track

We're happy to say that this function is now available on mobile devices via the Sleep Timer feature. It can be activated through the moon icon directly in the Now Playing View of podcasts, or through the three dot menu in the Now Playing view of songs.

7. [Desktop] Please bring back "Discovered by...." playlist list when looking at artist profiles.

8.  [Mobile][Connect] Enable Explicit Content Filter over Spotify Connect 

For this to work, make sure you have the filter already activated on your mobile or tablet before using Connect.

9. [PS4][Partnership] Bring PS4 Support in Israel.

Spotify is now available on PlayStation 4 in Israel. There's more info here.

10. [Partnership] Make Playstation Music available in Croatia

11. [PlayStation][Connect] Play Station Spotify connect in Ukraine

12. [Other] Exact release date across all platforms

All you need to do is hover over the song's release year: this will show you the full song's release date

13. [All Platforms] See and play tracks I have liked from an artist's page

14. [Desktop][Playlists] Remove currently playing song from playlist

You can right click on the currently playing song in the lower left corner of the app and one of the options available will be Remove from this playlist.

15. [Desktop] Add "Playlists" as a tab in "Your Library"

Playlists are now a separate tab in Your Library on Desktop. This section provides a list of your playlists in grid view, with different sorting option accessible via the button in the upper right corner of the app. 

16. [Desktop][Your Library] Sort the list of playlists

You can change the sorting order by navigating to Your Library>Playlists and selecting the one you prefer via the button in the upper right corner of the app. There's more info here.

17. [Desktop][Your Library] Playlists in grid view with large covers

Viewing your list of playlists in grid view is now available on Desktop. This can be done by navigating to Your Library>Playlists.

18. (Podcasts) You should be able to share a specific time stamp when sharing pods

We're pleased to confirm that, using the mobile app, it's now possible to share podcast episodes beginning at a particular moment. There's more info here.

19. [Apple Watch] Remember Podcast positions for offline listening

We also think this is a great idea and are actively working on making this happen. Although we can't set an exact timeframe for when this will be implemented - stay tuned!

20. [Social] Friendship Playlists

This is an awesome idea and there's an opportunity to make it happen, so we're looking into it further.

21. [Desktop][Developer] Add support for Apple Silicon (ARM64 on Mac)

We have been working hard backstage on this and are happy to announce that we now have a Beta version of our app available.

We know there has been a lot of demand for this capability and we're changing the status to "under consideration."

Almost 8 thousand votes and we still haven't heard what's blocking Spotify from implementing this feature.

So my mother, who has recovered from cancer a few years ago, now got this podcast suggestion on her home page: "The Tumor Tapes". Not funny!!!

The woman is 73 and has never and will never listen to podcasts.

Some other totally ridculous suggestions she's getting:

• Spanish training (???!?!)
• Is Life worth a 7? (yeah, nice to show to a cancer survivor)
• Het Klokhuis (a show for 10-15 year olds)
• The Psychologist (wth??!!)

I'll probably cancel her subscription and go back to Apple Music. Not as powerful as Spotify, but at least it is not offensive and it is actually about music and not about podcastst.

Please Spotify, just give us an option to disable podcasts! There are several topics about this, each with several thousands (!) of votes. For some reason, they don't show up in the list of popular/trending ideas, so it seems your "logic" is suppressing all suggestions which contain negative comments on your podcasts!

I would like an update on friends activity on mobile. 

It has been 2 years since last update from spotify on this topic. It already exists on PC, so it can't be that hard to implement this on mobile app, seriously.
