My Question or Issue
I have a few playlists that I've re-worked into other themes, but the only problem I'm encountering is that the old album cover is the one that appears when I search for the playlist to test it. It's only happening with playlists that have followers rather than ones that don't, as the ones that don't update immediately.
Any suggestions to fix the current playlists rather than having to make new ones?
Hey there @AshtonMorris,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
Can you let us know if this is happening on all devices, including the Web Player?
It should happen in real time. However, network restrictions might be slowing the process down. You can also try connecting to a different network.
Keep us posted on how you get on.
Hey @AshtonMorris,
Thanks for the reply.
Can you let us know how long it takes for a cover to update once you've done it?
We tried replicating this on our end, but changing the cover even on playlists that have multiple followers was instantaneous.
So the issue might be connected to your particular account.
You can try creating a free test account or asking a friend to log in with theirs on your device. This way we can check if it's an account issue or something else.
Keep us posted.
Hi @AshtonMorris,
Thanks for getting back in touch.
In this case, we recommend waiting a few more days to see if the covers are updated.
If after a few days the issue persists, could you send us a screen recording in which we can take a closer look at what's happening?
Keep us posted!
