Album tracks are out of order...

My Question or Issue

I noticed that Cage the elephants "Melophobia" album is not in the order that the artists released it. 

It seems like the most popular songs have been placed at the top, and all the other tracks are out of order as well. this is silly to me because artists release albums in a certain order for a reason, and i feel that messing with that is messing with the art they have created.

Thus far, this is the only album i have seen be like this, but i want to know why this is happening, and if it can be mended?
