An Emotional Fish

An Emotional Fish

I am a huge fan of An Emotional Fish - and Irish band from the 90’s who released 3 albums.
The first and third albums are both on a Spotify - however the second -?Junk Puppets - is not.
I am not sure why you would have a deal to play the 2 albums but not the other one - is this something that can be resolved.
Thanks

Neil

Hi there @Neild1,

thanks for reaching out to the community !

First of all i would like to point out that Spotify is the receiving end of content.

That means, Spotify does not remove, change nor edit the content found legal to be uploaded.

Therefore, the only factors eligable to perform changes are the right holders/artists/record labels and only them.

Spotify also functions as an open stage for artists to upload their creations so it isn't much of a deal and more of a platform.

For example, i haven't heard of the band you mentioned and i have looked them up on my private profile.

You mentioned seeing 2 albums in your country, i see only 1.

I would suggest you try and contact the band if possible.

If it isn't, feel free to upload your legal content to the Spotify app using the "Local Files" feature.

Hope this shed some light.

Let me know if you have any further questions 🙂
