Artist Page and Profile Page

I wanted to ask if it is normal that if i create a profile in spotify and then get access to an artist page i end up with two spotify pages with the same name which is confusing for me and others. You cannot create a playlist as an artist. Its only possible to show a playlist created with my personal profile. It's not possible to unite both profiles?

Unfortunately, this is an expected behavior; Spotify stopped merging artist pages with user profiles during 2017 due to the launch of the Spotify for Artists platform, which doesn’t require a user profile to be linked in order to verify an artist page. You can read more about this in this thread.
