Hey @kawaiivikki

Not to worry.

We'd recommend creating the new account first to see if you're still experiencing the issue.

If it works as it should and you're able to play this artist, you can ask your partner to remove you from their plan following these steps and to send you another invite for the new account.

In case the new account has the same issue, let us know and we'll see what we can suggest.

Thanks for reporting this. We know how difficult it is when the app starts acting up. Rest assured, I'm here to help you!

I gave a look at the Artist page and everything seems fine on my end.

Could you please send us a screenshot to make sure what's happening on your end?

It goes from pause to shuffle play in a matter of seconds after you select something.

Did a clean reinstall twice, didn't make a difference.

Hey @kawaiivikki,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Can you let us know if other people, like friends or relatives, who are in the same country as you can play Bo Burnham's songs? Additionally, let us know the country set to your account.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

My partner who I am on a duo premium plan with, it works on his device. I'm in the USA.

Hi @kawaiivikki

Thanks for keeping us posted.

Just to confirm, is your partner able to replicate this behavior if he logs in to his personal account using your phone?

It would also be helpful to know the make, model, OS version and the Spotify version currently running on your devices.

We'll be right here.

My partner logged into his account on my phone and it worked for his account.

make/model: Samsung Galaxy S10+

OS version: Android 11

Spotify version: 8.6.36.1070

The problem seems to be my account and not my phone or app.

Hi again @kawaiivikki

Thanks for getting back to us.

It's possible that the issue is related to your specific account.

In this case, we'd suggest creating a new account here. If it works fine, you can take a look at this article that describes how to start over with a new account. You'll also find some instructions on how to transfer your content to the new one.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

I'm part of the Spotify Premium Duo plan and my partner is the plan manager, how would I be able to leave my account for a new one and not affect his?
