Copeland?

Copeland?

Two albums from the band Copeland, "In Motion" and "Dressed Up & In Line", have disappeared from Spotify. They were on there fairly recently (at least within a month or two), and all of their other albums are still there. Anyone know what's up?

Hey @ccctc

The reason is that the artist or their music label has likely decided to remove it from Spotify.

The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artist and their music label.

Spotify wants all the world's music, and they're working hard on making this happen for you. However sometimes agreements can't be reached with the artist or label or a change may happen in music ownership. Sometimes the music is only available in certain countries, while access is blocked to others. Sometimes the album or song will be unavailable temporary, and come back again later.

Spotify adds thousands of albums and artists are added every day. If you can't find an artist you're looking for, they may appear (or reappear if removed) soon.

They even more recently pulled Beneath Medicine Trees. I adore Copeland, old stuff and new stuff, but they have two very different sounds and I bet they just feel like the old stuff doesn't represent them anymore. Bummer for us though.

Copeland is back!!! I never deleted the songs from my playlist and even though the albums were removed, the songs weren't. So I'm listening to my playlist and then I hear I'm a sucker for a kind word, I go to artist and there they are in all their glory...all the albums I missed are back!
