Different versions of tracks

There are two versions of Car Seat Headrest's 'Twin Fantasy' that exist, one released in 2011 and one in 2018. They are different albums, but the version on Spotify conflates the two, with some versions from the original and some versions from the more recent album included on the same album. I'm wondering if this problem exists for other versions of different albums. Can Spotify fix this problem?
