Do I earn more from premium user?

Do I earn more from premium user?

I just released my music here and im a bit confused,

Do i realy earn more if premium useres are streaming my music?

Also, does the country realy mattter and is $0,004 per stream up to date?

No, you won't earn more when premium users stream your music, I think it's the same amount. Signed artists will receive $0,0044 per stream, for unsigned artists this is $0,0038. I don't think the country matters.

What do you mean by "signed" and "unsigned"?
Signed to a major or signed to an independent label?

How does Spotify know who is signed and who is unsigned?
If I release all my music through some small independent label and they upload it via a third party service to Spotify, would this be considered as a "signed artist"?

You're signed when you have a contract with a record label. I don't think it matters how big the label is. They will take care of your royalties etc.

The numbers I gave you are just averages, don't expect this exact amount. I think this amount depends on so many different things.

For example, if you're not signed by a label, you can use an aggregator to collect royalties for you and they will claim a small percentage of your earnings.
