Does the music content on Spotify differ with regions?

I am a regular user of spotify and I was using my account with my region in Dubai. But now, when I changed my region from UAE to INDIA, I couldn't find alot of my favourite songs and albums such as Ed Sheeran's "Divide album and it's songs and so on. Could somebody clarify whether it's how spotify works or can any favourable change brought over it. Hoping for a reply soon.

The availability of music changes with region, time and a couple of other factors and that is usually because of conditions in licensing rights issued by owners of the music.
