This popped up on New Releases...thought it looked sus/sketch, as Kathy Heideman just made that one gem of an album so many years ago...
Hearing this monstrosity led me to look up the artist bio by the "Move With Love" re-release record label. So now I know that Heideman did not write any of the songs on Move With Love. That credit is to a mystery person named Dia Joyce.
Which makes sense, as this new song sounds like it would play in the background of a Chevy truck commercial during the Super Bowl. She wouldn't be the first folkie to red-pill in their autumn years. The singer sounds distinctly male... let's not make assumptions or judgements... but I think this may be a cynical fake barnacle riding on her good name in Spotify. Spotify should remove this if it is indeed fake.
<edit 11/28> Another one appeared today, the day after Thanksgiving. Will the "Broken Promise" be to Lady Liberty? Will someone who might be named Kathy actually be singing? I don't want to dignify it with a .00001 cent play, but I'll go ahead anyway, see how long I can listen before the stench is too great... or will it be a masterpiece...?
Ten seconds later: Yeah, "Broken Promises" sounds like AI slop. A baloney club track that sounds about 20 years out of step.
Any info out there? Is Kathy Heideman out there? Is she already making millions writing Super Bowl Truck USA Soaring Eagle songs sung by benignly growly men?
