New DJ Khaled Album advertised but not actually available?

New DJ Khaled Album advertised but not actually available?

Hi,

I have seen a number of advertisements regarding DJ Khaled's newest album (I Changed a Lot) but I can't access it in Spotify.

When I search for the album and only his old ones show up (not this latest release).  When I go to an actual LINK to the album on spotify (http://theurbandaily.com/2015/10/23/stream-dj-khaled-new-album-i-changed-a-lot/) it magically FINDS the album (even though it's not searchable!) but only makes available 4 of the songs from the album (Album Description says its 1 hour 2 mins, but the songs only add up to maybe 20-30mins)

What's going on here? For what it's worth I'm in Canada using an iPhone 6S with a Spotify Premium subscription.

Thanks

Hello:

The version of that release I came across was the Deluxe version here:

spotify:album:2O5841tkIKVcWFQTMHKJlw

I did a region lookup of this release and it is only available from these listening regions at the moment:

<availability>
<territories>BR FR US</territories>
</availability>

Sometimes this happens due to region licenses of releases made available on streaming services,

Spotify wants all the world's music, and they're working hard on making this happen for you. However sometimes agreements can’t be reached with the artist or label or a change may happen in music ownership.

Spotify adds thousands of albums and artists are added every day. If you can’t find an artist you’re looking for, they may appear (or reappear) soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact the artist or their label to ask when they plan to be on Spotify.

Thanks Jay.

Seems like Canada got the short end of the stick this time. Or an oversight on their part.
