Playlist songs removed

Playlist songs removed

There are certain songs I used to listen to in a few fully downloaded playlists. Looks like the songs are removed from the playlists. I dont remember the exact titles of the songs removed. Is there any way i can get those songs?

Hi there!

Those songs may have been removed due to some disagreement between the artist(s) and their record label, or they may have simply decided to remove the songs from Spotify for a variety of reasons. Spotify do their very best to stream all the great music out there, however thing like these can make it difficult.

In the meantime you could try to get in contact with the artist(s) if you can remember who they were and ask them why their songs were taken down. Personally, I contacted a band called Flyte to ask them why some of their songs were taken down and they said they wanted to re-release the songs when they gained more fame. Pretty reasonable.

Best,

Spotify would love to have all the world’s music available to everyone. However, some artists and tracks aren't currently available.

I'd recommend reading this article for more info.

To check which songs were removed simply go to Settings of Spotify in a Desktop app or in your mobile and enable Show Unavailable Songs. The greyed out songs are the ones you should be looking for.

Hope this helps!
