[Podcast] My Podcast... Near Perfect Pitch

I am an experienced, ex-music industry broadcaster, DJ, publisher, interviewer, audiophile and curator.

I have resurrected my radio show that ran for 15 years entitled 'Two Pints Of Lager & A Packet Of Crisps' as a weekly podcast called 'Near Perfect Pitch'. I now have 15 episodes under my belt.

The show features the best in Indie, Alternative, BritPop, New Wave, Punk and College... delivered amidst educated commentary and numerous weekly features ... including a guest artist interview each and every episode.

Each show episode features...

- Up to 30 songs

- A Musical Guest Interview

- A Web Site of The Week Feature

- A Weekly Cover Version

- A Weekly Hattrick (3 in-a-row)

- A weekly 'Get In The Sea' feature highlighting tje idiot of the week

- A Weekly track by The Fall

The podcast is available via iTunes, Google Play, Blubrry, Stitcher, Tune In and at (the host site)

1. I am proposing that Spotify sponsor my weekly podcast 'Near Perfect Pitch'

2. The show's global and ever-growing audience are genuine music fans... many of which are Spotify members

3. I can craft weekly 'Near Perfect Pitch' play lists that echo the show's content

4. I can cater regular features around Spotify content, news, etc.

Many thanks & much love,

Dara (Near Perfect Pitch)

I had to ask around behind the scenes, backstage that is about this submitting of Podcast content, and this is what I got back about Podcast submissions.

This was the official answer given to me:

"They're not currently taking on new Libsyn podcasts, but if you place a request with Libsyn, you could be considered for the next round of Podcasts to be added to Spotify. Hope this helps!"

If you are really serious about having your Podcast content added to this part of the Spotify service, you might try going this route @SpotifyCares on Twitter, and hopefully they can put you in contact with the correct teams covering this part of the Spotify service to see about getting your Podcast added to the Spotify service?

Hello JayLB and thank you very much for your reply and assistance.

The podcast is currently hosted on Podbean and is available via iTunes, Google Play, Blubrry, Stitcher & TuneIn.

Is the only way to be considered by Spotify to have a Libsyn account?

Many thanks,

I would probable assume so, as that seems to be the partner service currently providing the Podcast content to the Spotify service, a digital media aggregate service for Podcast content?
