Fans First emails are our way of thanking our artists’ biggest Spotify fans with unique or exclusive offers. Previous treats have included:

• Access to presale tickets for upcoming concerts.
• Access to exclusive merch items not available anywhere else.
• Invites to special artist events.

If you want to get your hands on a Spotify Presale Concert Code you have to do the following to be eligilble (a code is not guaranteed):

1.  Log into your account page's notification settings to make sure you’ve opted in to Artist Updates emails.

2. Make sure we have your correct email address here. If there's a spelling mistake in your email then you won't get the code. 

Please know these campaigns are run on a first come first serve basis, so it’s possible that it may be full. You can contact the ticket company running the presale to check this.

That sucks. You don't even have to be premium? Been premium for years and have never received a presale code. Makes this whole thing seem even more unsavory. What the deuce are the criteria Spotify? Make it fair and let "superfans" who are premium enroll for the bands they like and implement random equal opportunity drawings for the codes you have. Seems too simple.

Seems very simple, but you would think shuffle play would be simple also. I
hear songs repeat b4 full list is played using shuffle.

I'm a huge Perfume Genius fan, as my data will show, but I didn't have my promotions emails notifications turned on. Otherwise, I believe I would have received a pre-sale code for Perfume Genius at The Ready Room in St. Louis, MO on 10/13/17. Is there any way to get my code still? I've turned on my email notifications. I'm not sure exactly which ones need to be turned on but I selected "promotions." Also, I signed up for Spotify with my Facebook account so I am not sure which email Spotify uses. I'm guessing the one I have my FB set up with.

Generally speaking, I spend way too much time listening to Spotify. For a while I would get presale codes for upcoming concerts, but the concerts were either located too far from me or I just didn't have the time/money to make the concert happen. I haven't received any codes in a few months now though, and of course at this time I'm actually able to make a couple of concert trips happen in my life. How often is often enough to be listening to artists to start receiving presale codes again? A large number of the artists that are continually streaming on my playlists are either on tour or will be touring this fall (such as Kesha, for example) and some presale codes every now and then would definitely be appreciated.

I haven't received any codes in about two or three months. I was wondering how often is often enough to be listening to an artist so that I could possibly start receiving codes again, as there are artists that I listen to pretty much on repeat day in and day out and have been announcing tours, but I haven't been receiving codes anymore.

I don't have an answer. I'm just a premium Spotify member and haven't
received a code ever yet.

Spotify doesn't share much info about how they do things.

May be time for us to look into other music streaming options.

Hi!

I live in Toronto and tickets for a Morrissey concert in Buffalo go onsale tomorrow for the Spotfy Presale Event. 

Although I am in Toronto would I still be able to recieve the codes as I am planning on attending.

I know I qualify as Morrisey was the first artist i downloaded when I subscribed to Spotify.

I apprciate your help!

You don't qualify based on what you downloaded. It's based on how many
times you play it.

Check the email you used to setup Spotify and if you get an email you are a
lucky one.

I have only chatted with one person that received and used a presale code
from Spotify.
