Public playlist followers

I have 3 people following my profile and one of my public playlists used to have 2 followers and now only one. Except the fact that one of the followers unfollowed my playlist, could also the reason be that this person turned this playlist to private? Would this action decrease the number of my playlist followers?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this. 

Keep in mind that your followers can't make your public playlists private or vice-versa because only the user who created them can do that.

In this case, if one of your playlists has less followers, it means that someone unfollowed it.
