Question on sampled artists (Shiloh Dynasty)

Solved!

Question on sampled artists (Shiloh Dynasty)

Is it proper to consider a sampled artist to be a 'featured artist' when suggesting edits in line-in? Or are sampled artists usually not credited at all? I noticed that many songs where Shiloh Dynasty is sampled are incorrectly credited to one of three other artists named Shiloh and I suggested edits for a bunch of them. See "im closing my eyes (Feat. shiloh)" by potsu for example.

That's a great question. My gut instinct is no, because where do you draw the line? Songs by The Avalanches and Knaye would have tons of "features" in that case. But then you have "A$AP Forever" that heavily samples Moby and gives him a feautre credit.

Also, love that potsu song ❤️
