Song / Artist has disappeared from playlist

I discovered one song in my playlist that has vanished, the only thing left is a stock album cover and a link to 'Various Artists', which doesn't help. I realise this means the artist has deleted their profile / removed their music from the service.

My question is; is there any way to find out who the artist was, for instance, a Spotify artist cache or a playlist time machine or a play history etc. Anything that I can use to try and find the artist. I know this is a long shot, but I've tried finding this song for a long time in every corner of the internet, but it has completely disappeared and I don't know how to find it.

For anyone curious, it was a piano version of 'O Come All Ye Faithful', so it isn't a well known artist or anything. It was just a nice sounding cover.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please keep in mind that the availability of music on Spotify can vary over time and between countries, depending on agreements between Spotify and rights holders, such as artists or record labels.  To be honest, I believe that there is no such time machine service (cached archive) that you can use to look up the artist.  However, Spotify is constantly working to add new content to the platform so hopefully your favorite music by will be back up soon.

The old band “IFA Wartburg” which was a GDR band disappeared from Spotify since the 14th of September
