Songs credits being attributed to artists who did NOT contribute

I've noticed an uptick in miscredited artists on my recommended playlists. Essentially, I'm under the impression that AI generated music is being erroneously uploaded to the platform that includes artist credits who did NOT contribute to the song. I believe this is a ploy to farm AI generated listens exclusively for profit. The latest example I've uncovered is here https://spotify.link/YN9DIx9VyBb . The song indicates that Cal Scruby and Ryan Oakes are coartists, but this quiet instrumental is NOTHING like their rap music; furthermore, no information exists online to indicate either of those artists have anything to do with this song.

Hey there,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We appreciate the time you took to let us know about this. You can check this article to learn how to report it.

Keep in mind that the way the content is displayed (including its metadata) in the app is the way that it was submitted by the artist or the label/distributor. Nevertheless, if you notice inconsistencies, you can still report them by following the steps in the article.

We hope you found this helpful. Let us know if you need anything else.

This moderators response is reductive to the original post, and oddly displays a lack of consideration for their own app's content. Yes, Spotify has platform rules on scams and such within content. But does Spotify have zero quality assurance? Or anyone using their own app and realizing AI songs are being posted and attributed to artists? And upon listening to the track, realizing that it makes zero sense to attribute AI songs to actual artists because it doesn't actually sound like them, but rather a ripped off, more crappy version? Does Spotify not care about user experience in that way?

Referring the user to a form that doesn't address the original posters problem is some pretty terrible customer service & support.
