Songs no longer found in spotify?

Hello so this might be a dumb question but there are songs I like that are no longer on spotify (Ruben Studdard - Sorry 2004 and Donots - Saccharine Smile for example) and am wondering why that is the case. They still appear in my liked songs too but I can't listen to them anymore. Any answer is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello @Matt_is_Wright

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

This can happen if licensing agreements with the artist/labels, or ownership of rights, has changed. Availability can vary between countries as well.

For more details on availability, check this Support article.

Hopefully the songs you're looking for will reappear soon!

You see, now THIS is an instance where the standard response is warranted.  The questioner is clearly a bit of a novice when it comes to the way Spotify works with artist/label relationships, rights, and the removal of tracks, so the basic explanation is appropriate here.  The problem is when it is used with seasoned users who know exactly how everything works and who know that Spotify knows more specifics and are calling the rock stars out on this.  That's when it gets annoying and makes it seem like the rock stars are actually bots.
