Still has artist but not song

I had Within You by David Bowie saved in a playlist so i could listen to it for hours when writing my story, but now the song is no longer available and disappeared to me it seems like. I was wondering if it would come back since the artist did die not that long ago? Is it gone for good? Was it a glitch? Or what I don't know. I looke him up and they still had quite a bit of his songs, but not the one I'm looking for.

Spotify does not delete songs from your playlist so that you can still have the song listed even though it has been removed from the service.

Go into settings and there should be an option called "Show unavailable songs in playlists". If you turn this option on, you should then be able to see the song in the playlist.

If the song is greyed out,

The reason is that the artist or their music label has likely decided to remove it from Spotify.

The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artist and their music label.

Spotify wants all the world's music, and they're working hard on making this happen for you. However sometimes agreements can't be reached with the artist or label or a change may happen in music ownership. Sometimes the music is only available in certain countries, while access is blocked to others. Sometimes the album or song will be unavailable temporary, and come back again later.
