Instead of the Spotify playlist "Discover Weekly", I am getting this playlist which is not the official one. Besides the fact that this is spamming my playlist, this is also interfering with smart devices integration, because when I say "Play Discover Weekly on Spotify", this playlist will be played, instead of the official one....
Please prevent creating playlists with the same name as the official ones and allow me to block/remove/report this kind of playlists from the app.
Having the same issue. This is incredibly annoying and has been for weeks now. Why can't Google look in my Spotify library first for a matching playlist instead of pulling up some random one? AND, why can't I "unlike" the random one so it stops happening? Major flaw.
It seems that, somehow, the Discover Weekly playlist tailored for me has been regenerated. However, I still see this non-existent playlist in my homepage, on all platforms - web and app: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZEVXcN1CuOC5Zg7v
Since I cannot remove it from my homepage, can you please do something so I don't see it anymore? It makes no sense, as when I click it I get a loading progress icon and after a very loooooong time, I get an error saying that the playlist doesn't exist.
Hey @serbanpaun,
Thanks for the post.
Glad to hear that you can access the original personal Discover Weekly again.
There is no way to manually remove content from your front page. We'd recommend listening to more of your favourite music via the Search option. Your homepage should update with more recent searches in some time.
Take care.
It doesn't go away, regardless of how much I listen.... It seems to stay there like it is glued!
So it gets worse and to the worst....
I now have 2 Release Radar and 2 Discover Weekly.
Spotify, you are paying some dev's salaries by mistake!
Hey @serbanpaun,
Thanks for the post.
When you click on those playlists do they lead to the same place or is it playlists containing different songs.
Let us know if this is true on all your devices.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
Different playlists.
Yes, the same on all devices.
Hey @serbanpaun,
Thanks for the reply.
Would you mind sending us the URI's to those two playlists. We'll look into this further.
Looking forward to your reply.
Discover weekly
This seems to be the correct one, since it has my profile photo as cover

Discover weekly

Both Release Radar playlists seem to be tailored for me, but why two playlists?

Hi @serbanpaun
Thank you for keeping in touch.
We've examined the playlists and both seem legit. Since this current thread is discussing a different topic, we kindly ask you to open a new thread so we can start looking into this issue properly.
We'll be on the lookout.
Same here. Discover weekly only plays the wrong discover weekly on my Google home, tried different languages, from my library etc ... No change...
Hey @fritzseidel,
Thanks for the post.
Can you let us know roughly when did this start happening and if it's happening with other playlists as well.
Keep us posted.
Hi @fritzseidel,
Thanks for the reply.
In this case I'd recommend heading over to this Ongoing Issue thread and adding the requested info there. This will get passed on to the right folks at Spotify who are investigating why this issue is affecting some users. We're aware that they're in communication with the folks from Google and working on improving this functionality. But for the moment we don't have more news about this.
Some community members have reported that this was resolved for them through a firmware update to the Google Home speaker, so it's good to check if there are any available and let those run.
Here are some other troubleshooting means you can try:
We'll keep you updated here and in the above mentioned thread when we have more info on this.
