Where to purchase music heard on Spotify

I relaize Spotify does not offer downloads. I am having difficulty finding album information I'd like to purchase elsewhere. Any thoughts?

i'm also wondering if the spotify for windows app has anyway to purchase albums or songs directly through spotify or at least a link within the app that goes to another site where i can purchase them.

if they don't, they really should, since i hear all the time that artists barely make any money from apps like this.

If you're on a Premium subscription, it's possible to make songs available for online use with the app by downloading them. You can read more info on this here.

However, if you'd like to purchase albums, tracks or merchandise by specific artists, you can also head to their artist profile to find more information.

I usually go over to apple itunes and type in the artist and song. If it's available there then you should see an identical cover image for the album/song that you're interested in.

I also use this method because I sometimes find versions of the songs that I like better or alternate forms that I sometimes prefer (like live/concert versions and so-on).
