Why are pictures from my iCloud used in SPOTIFY's playlist?

A picture from my iCloud libreary is used in Spotify!

Used as an icon of the 'Discover Weekly' playlist to be precise.

How did Spotify ever get to my pictures in my foto library on iCloud?

This is a very serious privacy issue.

I have never uploaded any picture in Spotify.

Discover Weekly playlist uses your profile picture. You can find a step-by-step guide on how to change it in this support article.

We have Privacy & Social settings and you're able to control the information that you show to others on your profile. Head here and find more info on the topic.
