Will we ever be able to massage user to user?

I have always wanted to message friends through the app but also new artists I want to show love to. Show them they have a vocal audience and tell them what I like about their tunes.

Spotify used to have such kind of messaging, but it was discontinued a few years ago.

They said it was because of very low usage. I don't think they will bring it back.

Hi there!

 

Direct messaging on Spotify used to be a function. But for reasons unknown to myself, the feature has been removed. Spotify may consider bringing back the feature to create a more social aspect to the app.

I don't think it's a good idea.

There are plenty of good known messengers like Telegram, Threema, WhatsApp etc.

 

No need for a heavy app because of this useless features.

Hello! That message feature used to exist, however, it was deleted due to it's low usage. In my opinion there are many other great mesaage apps and there's no need in having that feature.

 

On the other hand, we all have good ideas to share, you can share yours with the community here. It can be voted by other users and maybe released.
