Wrong Song Playing in Album

There is a playback error in the album “Buxtehude: Membra Jesu Nostri” (Listed Artists: Cantus Cölln, Dietrich Buxtehude, Konrad Junghanel).

Selecting the second track in the album (https://open.spotify.com/track/7oLeHsEozXoMNbNCgC21ik?si=bUPbB_JrTLGotkI4G4csSA) is incorrectly playing another song.

This type of issue is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 

If the issue persists, could you check it on a different device to see if it makes any difference? This will give us a better look at the issue.

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

So I’m on an iPhone SE (2020), iOS 16.4.1, and the issue persists on any Spotify version I’ve had for the past several months. It does work on my PC, but after doing the cache clearing, the issue persists on my iPhone. Not sure what else could be causing the wrong playback on my iPhone. I actually clean reinstalled the app last week for another issue, and the problem is still going on with this album.

We've tried to replicate the issue you mentioned, but hitting the second song of the album is playing the selected song and not another one.

In this case, since it appears to be happening just in your iPhone, could you record a short video where we can take a better look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to watch it).
