attributing a track to the correct artist account

attributing a track to the correct artist account

hey spotify fam! i've just recently had a track released and for some reason it's not showing up under my artist account when i search for the artist. in fact, when i search for my artist name in spotify now, i see a second Sid Waters, so it looks like there was a new account created on my behalf and the song was attributed to that account. is it possible to move the new track under the correct account or somehow consolidate the new account with the original account? and if so, how? thanks in advance!

Hey @sidwatersmusic,

Can you please send me the link to your release so I can take a look?

Thanks!

Hi Maxim,

The link to the new track that's attributed to the newer duplicated artist account is:

https://open.spotify.com/track/1dEBskcUatVVID8Xq59F1C (Spotify URL is spotify:track:1dEBskcUatVVID8Xq59F1C).

The account that I would like this track to link to is my original Sid Waters account: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4w9sJfD808kI7BGKrNxgiZ (Spotify URL is spotify:artist:4w9sJfD808kI7BGKrNxgiZ).

Right now, the song is attributed to the duplicated artist account:

https://open.spotify.com/artist/4KvFliuSAJedFWTu3LcNNu (Spotify URL is spotify:artist:4KvFliuSAJedFWTu3LcNNu).

Thanks in advance for all of your help!

Thanks!
