my playlist has gone from 1000 songs to 7

my playlist has gone from 1000 songs to 7

my playlist of 1000 song overnight went to 7 song all unreadable because grayed out. All my other playlist have the same problem. Only when I go to the web broswer it works. I checked the installation, I looked at the preferences nothing works ...

thanks for posting !

 

Can you please clarify if all the songs that were greyed out are local files, or are they tracks from Spotify?

 

Let's also try some basic troubleshooting:

  • perform a clean reinstall of the app on the device (clear cache + app data)
  • try logging in from another device and see if the songs reappear

Let me know how it goes 🙂

it sounds like the local songs are the only ones still there. in the playlist they are gray.

to install again did not give anything.

from my phone I find the playlist, also on the web. It looks like a configuration problem but which one ...

It sounds like this issue is happening only on your desktop device.

Can you try a clean reinstallation of the app with these steps ?

 

In addition, please check you desktop device's drivers, that you're running things as the administrator, and ensuring everything on that device is up-to-date.

 

Reply back to the post in case it didn't help and we'll continue from there.

I tried nothing better , all my playlist are empty on the application after clean reinstallation too.

And on Web Spotify i found all my songs ...

I can't read any songs on the app ....

I made a search it find the song but when i played it nothing happen ...

Really  wierd 😕
