"Couldn't load the lyrics for this song" error

As of version 8.8.20.544 and the version prior to that has caused the lyrics from my personal playlist in my device 'Samsung-SMJ250F' to disappear, at first I thought it was brcause the songs were old but way older songs still had lyrics
The playlist is a private playlist featuring all songs of 'DragonForce'
and after the update none of the songs had lyrics.

When I listen to music on the mobile spotify app, I like to have the lyrics up when I scroll down. Most songs have this, but i've noticed previously-available lyrics forn some songs have been replaced with the 'About The Artist' box or the upcoming 'Live Events' box to find & purchase tickets, or merchandise for sale. This means i'm unable to read the lyrics like I would like to.

So maybe the suggestion is to have it so if I swipe to the side, I can go back and forth between the 'About The Artist/Live Events" box and also a box for the lyrics—somewhat like swiping left & right on an instagram post with multiple images/videos or a Tinder profile swipe? This makes it so there's less clutter and everything is accessible simply by swiping.

Hello,

I wanted to ask: why does Lana del Rey's album 'did you know that there's a tunnel under ocean boulevard' show no lyrics? When the album first came out, there were lyrics for every song. Shortly after, the lyrics disappeared and stopped showing for all the songs on the album. 

I would love for Spotify to bring them back again because Lana's lyrics are genuinely good, and I love reading them side by side while listening to the songs.

My Question or Issue

Yesterday, for some reason, the lyrics just decided to straight up not show up on any song. I tried uninstalling the app from the Pop!_Shop and decided to install via apt, but the issue remains.
And to demonstrate it, I took a screen shot of one song that I know for sure it used to have it's lyrics perfectly synced and matched but stopped working.
Is the problem related to the fact that I'm using the free version?

Why am not able to view the lyrics, i was able to do this before 1 week ago but no i cant, i have cleared cache lot of time, i reinstalled lot of time, now i am currently running  on the latest version

Recently the lyrics has stopped appearing. The reason is unknown. Please try fixing this because it says lyrics is a premium feature but in the premium plans I do not see the lyrics as part of the plan.

Also why has the lyrics been removed from the free plan? This is highly disappointing for many users.

I have tried troubleshooting multiple times by restarting, redownloading, checking my internet, and my mac won't allow me to turn on/off offline mode. Please help.

I have been using sportify for 2 years, and this never happened. From yesterday, most of my song's lyrics said that it couldn’t load the lyrics for this song. Is it the problem in samsung? I am using the latest version, and I tried logging out and reinstalling the app. I need help as soon as possible. Can you help me?

Hey there @vivi-,

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. 

Just to confirm, is this only happening on your Mac or on other devices as well? 

If this only happens on your PC, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you give a different internet connection a go to see if that makes the difference?

The lyrics for some songs were working but now they don't and it says you caught us we are still working on this or you'll have to guess the lyrics for this song but for my friends it shows the lyrics are working for the same song and i tried everything from a clean reinstall to completely wiping my pc and still doesn't work and checked if i have the latest version or not

The availability of these features can vary over time, as well as between markets, and depending on the agreements we have in place with our rights holders. We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.
