Is that possible to share spotify playlists to non spotify users? Even if they canot listen to it, can they just see the playlist(check what songs are there)?

Hi @lilyfall5,
Thanks for reaching out to the Spotify Community! 😄
Yes, it is definitely possible to share your Spotify playlist with those who do not have an account! The only downside is that they are unable to listen to the playlist - they will be prompted to login or create an account with Spotify in order to do so. Remember, Spotify accounts are free to make, use and collaborate with!
You can show your playlists to non-spotify users by sharing the playlist link - I have attached instructions here in case you need some assistance with this.
Let me know if you need any more help 😄
Kind Regards,
BK 🌻

I want to include a QR code on a printed piece that links the recipients to a specific song on Spotify. I have a subscription but would those receiving it be able to hear the song if they don't have an account?
Thanks for your reply but it is not clear to me whether I can listen to another person's playlist unless I am a Premium user. I do have a spotify account but just a free one.
Hey @musicpsirit108,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!
Yep, you can listen to the playlist with your Free account, so no worries! You'll find out more info on the differences between Free and Premium here.
@digkatedunn, they'll still need a Spotify account in order to play the song. Without an account they'll just be able to see the song title, artist and album name.
Hope this clears things up. Cheers!
If I have a paid subscription but the person I send the playlist to does not, will they get commercials during playback? I am creating a playlist for a Celebration of Life and certainly don't want ads during playback. Very uncool.
Hey @joelmc,
Thanks for reaching out!
If they're on the free version, we're afraid it's expected that they would hear ads if they listen to the playlist directly from their account.
Hope this clears things up.
Thanks. We won't be using Spotify then, will have to find another way.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
