There may be several reasons for this: sometimes agreements are being negotiated or cannot be reached with an artist, label or content provider. It can also happen that the rights to a track, album, video or podcast change owners, causing the content to be removed from Spotify.

Thousands of minutes of content are added to Spotify every day. If you can't find what you're looking for right now, it may be available at some point in the future. In the meantime, you can upload local files to your Spotify library.
