Original Soundtrack for Moana

I am currently living in Germany, and I noticed that I can't access the original soundtrack from the movie Moana, I can only listen to the one where they changed her name to Vaiana for some reason. Is there a work around for this? And what is the reason for this?

they are both the same album, the German movie just has a different title, they probably published it twice to avoid confusion.

See that is what I am used to, but the fact is, that her name is changed in the songs. Most notiably in "I am Vaiana" . The title of the song alone is often changed and even when I search and then play "I am Moana", I still get the version with Vaiana. Same with e.g. "Where you are" .

I reported the issue to the Spotify support, they will check the album and then hopefully fix this 😃.

Sadly no updates. My alternative is listening to it on youtube, but that obviously only works when you are online.

Ok, so Spotify's answer boils down to: There is nothing we can do, deal with it.

Apparently it is a licensing or copyright issue and they have no influence over it.

It is due to the fact that Moana is the name of an italian porn actress? And if remembered correctly in France there are copywriting on the name so they chose to change the name for the European audience

Ugh, similar problem in Italy, I can only listen to the Italian dubbing of the movie, no original tracks available
