First off, thank you for maintaining the Linux desktop app. I run it in Gnome over Ubuntu Studio and it works a dream.

It works, in fact, better than Gnome is designed to work. Your app is written in such a way that it remembers its window position between desktop sessions.

This is not a default feature of Gnome, much to my consternation. It's one of the few shortcomings of this DE, and your desktop app has overcome it somehow.

It would be an act of amazing corporate citizenship if you folks were to get in touch with the Gnome devs and make available to them whatever it is in your fundamental UI design that allows for this *crucial* feature. I am only a baby dev, but I believe they call it a pull request.

Or if there is a way for users with a bit of scripting under their belt to implement this themselves, that would also be a wonderful thing to share with the community.
