Ok, the last 24 hours many things has gone wrong with Spotify.
The songs I delete from my playlist is there the next time I start Spotify.
Spotify uses 10-20 seconds to get a song started. (my internet connection is fine)
And now, this message has started popping up: "Spotify has been paused because your account is used somewhere else".
I have never used Spotify any other place than on this computer , and I have been paying for Spotify for years.
It is only the last day I have experienced these things. The "Spotify has been paused because your account is used somewhere else" started after I downloaded the latest version. The other 2 things happened with the old version too.
I have to say, Spotify has always had issues, but I thought it would get more polished after a few years. I feel not much has happened to the quality of this product. We get silly things like Facebook apps etc, but not many useful improvements when it comes to actually using it as a music program.

I sorted my issue out. I use spotify with Sonos and it turned out that songs I had favourited in the Sonos app were linked to my profile. So when my partner went to play some of the songs I favourited in the Sonos app on her phone, it was using my profile to do it, so of course I would get Spotify error that someone else is using my account. Which is fair enough I guess.
First thing to try is to remove access from all devices in your spotify.com profile. After that, think about which other services could be using your profile (Sonos for example). And not just your services either... maybe you used Spotify at a friend's place and didn't log out, and your friend is continuing to use it on their computer?
